Day 6. El Questro Wilderness Park

Indulge in a delicious open-air home-style dinner at Emma Gorge Resort. Visit the tranquil Zebedee Springs, a stunning oasis in the middle of the desert, located within the wilderness park. Afterwards, enjoy a scenic cruise along Chamberlain Gorge, where the river carves a path through the sheer rock-face which is surrounded by a diverse range of native flora and fauna. Day 7. El Questro Wilderness Park, Lake Argyle, Ord River, Kununurra

Day 12. King George River, Tranquil Bay

Board a Zodiac and cruise to the base of King George Falls. Jump aboard the Explorer and discover rugged gorges carved by the force of the mighty King George River. Cruise to the base of magnificent King George Falls aboard a Zodiac. The towering 80 metre twin falls are one of the Kimberley’s most spectacular attractions. Later, you’ll explore the beautiful beach at Tranquil Bay.

Day 13. Vansittart Bay, Jar Island

Be guided across salt flats at Vansittart Bay to view the wreckage of a US Air Force DC3, which crashed on the beach during World War II. Later, guest lecturers will guide you through Jar Island’s rock art, including the mysterious Bradshaw (Gwion Gwion) paintings, dating back some 20,000 years.

Day 14. Winyalken Bay

This evening, pull up a chair and watch the sun setting over the Indian Ocean while you savour a delicious gourmet Australian beach barbecue. After anchoring in Winyalken Bay, travel ashore and explore the maze of natural sandstone caves of Hathaway’s Hideaway.

Day 15. Bigge Island, Careening Bay

Visit Bigge Island’s ancient Wandjina rock art. Spend some time at leisure wandering Careening Bay. Then, with a knowledgeable guide, you’ll journey to the site of the iconic boab tree engraved with ‘HMC Mermaid 1820’, miraculously visible almost 200 years on.

Day 16. Prince Regent River, King Cascades

Admire the breathtaking King Cascades, an unusual terraced waterfall. Aboard the Explorer, cruise the Prince Regent River. Then, enjoy afternoon tea at beautiful Camp Creek.

Day 18. Kuri Bay, Raft Point, Ruby Falls

Cruise Kuri Bay, home of the south sea pearl industry. Board the Explorer and travel to striking Raft Point, where you’ll see ancient Wandjina rock art and some of the Kimberley’s most well-preserved Bradshaw (Gwion Gwion) paintings. Later, explore Red Cone Creek and Ruby Falls.

Day 19. Buccaneer Archipelago, Talbot Bay, Horizontal Falls

Board a Zodiac for a ride through Horizontal Falls. Travel through the Buccaneer Archipelago to Talbot Bay and see Horizontal Falls. When the 12-metre tide turns, currents rush through two narrow gorges, creating a cascade effect. Later, stop at Silica Beach.
