We are home and I want to thank Flower Travel for all the effort you have put in to making our Darwin – Kimberley Cruise – Broome tour an overwhelming success.

Everything worked. All the bookings you made on our behalf, and there were a few, came through on time and without question While several of our fellow travellers had to make urgent calls to their travel agents, but that was not the case with us.

Many thanks for all your efforts, especially in these very difficult COVID-19 times, on our behalf.

We have returned safely from our trip to the Kimberley region and found the package put together by Flower Travel was excellent.  We would certainly recommend Coral Expeditions and the Flower Travel package.

We are home again after our fantastic Kimberley cruise and we can’t find enough superlatives to describe it. The philosophy and culture of the cruise suited us perfectly and we were looked after wonderfully well. The scenery and the experiences were exceptional.

The Kakadu and Katherine tour out of Darwin was a great experience too. Those wetlands at Yellow Water were mind blowing and the Katherine Gorge is just stunning.

All of the travel and accommodation arrangements worked perfectly. We even scored upgrades on the cruise and at Double Trees hotel in Darwin.

The smooth running of all of the above was down to you guys. Then there were the issues caused by various Covid related hiccups that you smoothed out for us.

Thank you all so much for your wonderful and helpful service.

We have already told many others of the above and will continue to do so. We don’t have any future plans at the moment but will be in touch when we do.

Nick and I would like to thank you very much for all the efficient organsing you did for us.  To start with you were very knowledgable on the different cruise options, time of year to go and the selection of different companies to go with.

We are so happy that we choose Kimberley Quest, on your recommendation!!  It suited us perfectly. The boat was very comfortable, ample decks and spaces to accommodate everyone, the rooms were spacious for a cruise ship and ensuite bathroom was appreciated,  The staff were all knowledgable and exceptionally hospitable. We always felt they would do absolutely anything to make sure we had the best time… which we did!

We now appreciate the wonder of the Kimberleys and believe a cruising holiday is really the only way to see and experience it as we did. We love being outdoors and being active. Although the trip was not as active as we anticipated , we were very busy everyday if we wanted  to be and we have an understanding of the climate and environment up there and the logistics of the wildlife!

We met some really lovely people and everyone on the boat got on very well together.

Thank you for organizing our experience of a life time. We are not usually cruising people , but if we were to look at another cruising holiday, we would definitely approach you and have no hesitation recommending your services to friends.

We have finally arrived home after the cruise.
Just wanted to pass on our thanks. We had a great time and the whole trip
was a wonderful experience which we will remember for a long time.
The crew were terrific and I told them so many times.

I searched Kimberley Cruising and came across Kimberley Travel and Cruise ( Flower Travel ). After going through their comprehensive website I contacted Jenny and Simon for more information. They were very professional in their dealings with us and after discussing our criteria for a great trip they recommended the Coral Discoverer.

We have just got back from a great trip along the Kimberley Coast due in part to the choice of the Coral Discoverer. We saw a number of other ships ( both bigger and smaller ) during our trip and quickly realised that the Coral Discoverer’s Xplorer exploration boat was a great asset to the trip. The other ships had to rely totally on zodiacs to do their exploring in which can be uncomfortable on the longer trips.

Jenny and Simon and their team arranged everything ( we did a week pretrip exploration around Kununurra ) and everything worked like clockwork.
Margaret and I would thoroughly recommend Jenny and Simon to arrange a Kimberley Experience of a lifetime for you.

Just a brief word re our cruise from Darwin to Broome – it was nothing like we expected it was so much more than simply a cruise. We were blown away with the whole experience.. we learnt so much . This once in a lifetime cruise was worth every cent. Thanks to you and your co workers for such helpful friendly advice.  We have and will continue to spread the word of such an experience.

Thanks Karen, What an amazing part of the world and what a privilege to see it!  All the arrangements were effortless and all the connections, etc. worked out fine, so many thanks for that. Also for the recommendations, the Town Beach Café is a delight and one that we would have missed if you had not recommended it.  The cruise was excellently prepared and executed. We had two guest lecturers which was a real bonus.  Many thanks for your assistance in making this all happen for us!

We certainly had a better deal booking with you than a couple on the cruise also staying at the Vibe who booked with someone else.  They come from Ocean Grove.  They didn’t get the free accommodation that you offered.

The scenery was, as expected , magnificent and I look forward  to looking at our collection of photographs once we are home.

Our trip to the Kimberley exceeded expectations on every level. The exposure to indigenous art on the magnificent rock faces was a highlight. The cruise was fantastic. We were especially impressed by the crew – a fabulous bunch of hardworking generous spirited people who made our adventure awesome. We felt lucky to have that Skipper – his cultural knowledge of the area was great…and just an all round lovely guy. Everything went like clockwork. Thanks for your organisation.

Cindy and I have just come back from the Kimberley and have had the most fantastic adventure. It exceeded our expectations which were very high to begin with. The Kimberley is such a beautiful, unspoilt part of the world and we were very privileged to be able to experience it in such a five star manner. We want to thank you very much for your assistance and guidance in planning the holiday. Everything couldn’t have gone better including the flights, connections, accommodation, cruise and tours. The camel ride in Broome was also great fun and thanks for helping out with that. Our next trip won’t be for some time, however we’ll book through you again when it comes up.

I am very impressed with this company. All the staff I have dealt with have been extremely helpful and courteous, even when I have had to change my travel plans. My wife and I had booked a Kimberley cruise from Darwin to Broome scheduled for departure in mid-2020. However, because of the Covid-19 pandemic, the cruise was cancelled. We were offered the opportunity to take the cruise at a future date when cruises restarted, but our circumstances meant that we would not be able to take advantage of this offer. When we contacted the company about our situation, they could not have been more helpful and co-operative in sorting the whole matter out for us. We can’t speak highly enough about the way we were looked after by the company.

We had previously expressed an interest in doing a Kimberley Cruise, and Simon kindly thought of us when he received a cancellation. He was able to quickly plan a wonderful trip including nights in Darwin and Broome, with accommodation which was terrific. Everything went smoothly.

I too, found the holiday to be very enjoyable and the Kimberley region is certainly an area of outstanding natural beauty.

Just a few further minor suggestions from me;

All in all though it was a professionally run, excellent and fun trip. The guest lecturers on the Coral Discoverer were first rate and very knowledgeable.

From my perspective the trip was exceptional. Having never been to that part of the world it was a huge eye opener.

The cruise itself was well executed, with very experienced knowledgeable guides, friendly staff and good food. The other patrons were largely educated and interesting people, making for good meal time company.

The numerous expeditions from the ship on the Explorer and/or the zodiac speed boats were varied, and full of interesting things to see and learn about.
Although the room was fairly small it was quite adequate with a small but fully functional bathroom and plenty of storage.

There is very little to find fault with really.

As exercisers we did find that a bit of a challenge, as the designated exercise area was really just an old stationary bike and ellyptical with non-working consoles, but we managed to make it work with those and our own exercise routines.

Also as I was still running my business from the back end while away, wifi was a challenge on the ship. I ended up spending $360 all up on wifi, but I guess that is to be expected given the remoteness.

The accommodation in Broome and Darwin was great.

I certainly feel it was a privilege to have been given such an opportunity.

I have already highly recommended the trip to clients and friends.

I have been meaning to send you a note since our return home from our wonderful trip. Family caring and life seems to take up a lot of time!
We cannot thank you all enough for arranging the wonderful experience and adventure on the Coral Discoverer, then on to Broome, El Questro and Kununurra. We are so grateful that you encouraged us with the itinerary you organised, it far exceeded all our expectations.

A little hiccup you wouldn’t believe the day after we arrived in Darwin I smashed my foot on a paver that was sticking up, and damaged my foot which I thought was a bad sprain as I could weight bear. I kept it up for the few days and iced every two hours before joining the trip. More about that later.
The Coral Discoverer ship, crew, catering, and passengers were all a delight. We sat with everyone on the voyage and made a few friends that we will keep for life. We were all like a big family by the end of the trip and there was much bonhomie and laughter. Everyone was so kind to me with my foot and as passengers and crew found out, they would arrive at the next meal or expedition with sticks, sprays creams bandages, I was very cared for. I joined all the experiences and loved the thrilling helicopter flight to the Mitchell falls and exhilarating zodiac ride to the horizontal falls. Jamie and Ian were the most wonderful guides and we are so blessed to have been able to do this trip. We learned so much about the history of the Kimberley and far west and truly was a trip of a lifetime. I could write much more but every second was amazing.

We had the most fabulous time at El Questro and then in Kununurra and were blown away by the Bungle Bungles, Cathedral Gorge and the Ord River. Thank you again for convincing us to experience the bungle bungle flight and Ord river cruise. El Questro was amazing with our cabin overlooking that wonderful gorge and the whole week was full of wildlife that couldn’t be counted. (wildlife was probably the one thing that all the cruise passengers agreed we thought we would see more, but the Ord more than made up for it). We would love to plan a driving trip back to the area and spend more time exploring and do the Gibb River Road. The El Questro camp site also looks fabulous and we spoke to lots of campers/ caravaners who were loving their stay.

We would be interested in the Cairns to Arnhem trip in the future.

So again thankyou so much for arranging the trip for us we have not stopped talking about it and sharing the adventure and encouraging our friends to do the same.

I would like to say that I have travelled a lot, using various Travel Agents , and I have found your firm to be one of the best I have ever dealt with. I wish you every success in these critical times.

We had the trip of a lifetime when travelling through the Kimberley in 2019. Kimberley Travel & Cruise were spot on with all their advice. They recommended a ship which was perfect for us and the land tour afterwards was amazing. I couldn’t speak more highly of Jenny and her team.
